Has anyone reading this reflector ever tried using a "synchronous noise
blanker" to reduce local line noise? If so, what has been your experience
with this method?

By the term "synchronous noise blanker" I mean sensing your power line
frequency peaks and using those peaks to provide control pulses which are
applied to a "gating" circuit in series with the RX antenna. Obviously one
would need to be able to adjust the width and phase of the gate control
pulse relative to the noise pulse you are trying to blank.

I suggest you send responses to the reflector rather than only directly to
me.

Tod, K0TO
