Stay AWAY from any of that stuff!

Some years ago I was given a HUGE spool of copper-coated welding wire ---
nice copper clad steel wire that'll last a lifetime, thought I...and so
early in the summer I painstakingly made a run of 100' long open-wire
transmission line out of the stuff, only to see my handiwork degenerate into
two parallel lines of RUST before Christmas that same year!
