Hi topbanders,

noise cancelling by just computing the difference between the
frequency of a signal with noise and a neighboring frequency with
noise only will not work if the noise is of statistical nature (white
noise). But what happens in case of man-made-noise if on both, the
receiving frequency with a weak signal and a neighbouring frequency
with noise only, the (pulsed) noise of our electric environment is
-probably not exactly- but more-or-less the same? Would in this case
letting the sound card plus PC calculate the difference be of any use?
