Hi,
Sun is quite, no auroras, low K, but all signals from NA (starting from
CM6RCR to NL7Z) were coming
from 270 deg (on 220 m BV laying under snow) instead right 320 direction
all the night.
Almost nothing heard on regular NA 330 m 320 deg beverage, which runs 0.5 -
2 m above ground.
I started at 03:50 with K9DX and complaining on poor conditions,
regular "beacon" W5UN was
very weak also, but west coasters N6TR, W1YY, WA7TZY, K7TJR were clear and
easy readable.
Finally managed to get NL7Z into my log, heard KF7E rag chewing with W3xx
for few minutes with
real 579, but he faded out quickly - still need QSO with AZ together with
AR, LA (!),
ID, NV, KS, ND, SD and HI to complete WAS (all - this season).
I had a feeling, that band was open, just no activity. And some signals
below noice level :((
73 and CU tomorrow
Arunas / LY2IJ
