there i was as ZK1DRA, with a modified hw16 and a 500 foot wire up a 90 foot palm tree, the thought of working 25 stations on 160, or running on 40, and i remembered my midwest friends coming out to westport (WA) to go salmon fishing and their comments on how the fish had cost them $360 a pound lets see, a $6000 trip, 25 contacts, or about $240/ contact, give or take a few bucks; or i could run on 40m............... i chose 40m mike w7dra _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
