The QRP Amateur Radio Club International annual Top Band Sprint will take place
on Thursday, December 1, 2005 from 0000Z to 0600Z. This is Wednesday night for
the USA.
QRP on 160 Meters? Are we crazy? You will be amazed at how far 5 watts or less
can be heard. Get on and give the contesters a few qsos and see for yourself
what fun it can be.The frequencies are around 1810 for CW and around 1910 for
SSB.
You do not have to run QRP to participate. The exchange for members is: RST,
State/Province/Country, and Membership number. Non-members send RST,
Sate/Province/Country and Power output.
Full rules are available at: http://www.qrparci.org
This can be a good tune-up for the ARRL 160 Test and the Stew Perry. Fire up
and make sure your station is ready for contesting.
73, Will K9FO
