I ran some experiments this afternoon and put them up on my web site. It was
an exercise that gave me a chance to look at the loop and also to figure out
how to quickly get stuff on a website. The experiments were run using an 80
meter band pass filter similar in performance to the W3NQN filters.
The resulting pictures show pretty graphically why you might want to put a
filter ahead of the preamp in your RX system.
