Here's the final scoop on the splattering signal between
1820 and 1840 kHz. It's from a 10kW transmitter at WAGL in
South Carolina. I talked to the station and when they
switched to their 50kW the garbage between 1820 and 1840
went away.

They said they'd "try to get something done about it".

The 1829.25 kHz carrier signal is NOT related to the
parasitic problem of WAGL. We'll still have to figure that
one out.
