If you want a *really* good cone of silence,
phase two of ANY length in end-fire mode. I'm sure
there is some merit to the COS lengths for single
Beverages, but F/R is nowhere close to performance
of end-fire phased Beverages. An end-fire system is
only ~130' longer and 20-30' wider than a single
Beverage of the same length. You can use any
length you want since the rejection comes from
the phasing, not special COS lengths.
