Hello,

I had a blast in the CQWW 160 Meter CW contest, and I want to improve my
antenna system for the SSB contest. I am wanting to use a coaxial receive loop
for receive and my "T" vertical for transmit. I need to be able to switch from
the receive loop to the "T" when I transmit, and ground the vertical while I
receive on the loop. I am planning to do this with a relay (or relays, as the
case may be). What kind of relay should I use (coaxial or just a general
purpose relay), and what kind of current rating should the relay contacts have?
I will be using less than 250 watts for transmit at all times, and I plan to
have the TX/RX switch right at the rig. Lastly, are there any other things that
are important to know when using relays in this fashion?

I would appreciate any knowledge/advice on this topic.

Thank you and 73,

Ben
