Topband: Beacon Tribune - Europe or Bust!

Last night's code word was WEST.  A very special Beacon Tribune shout out 
to Steve, AA7U in Oregon.  Steve got partial copy of the beacon but 
couldn't quite scrape out the super double-secret code word.  Great effort 
however!

The 160 meter beacon at 3 watts did OK considering it was from the FRV. 17 
states, 39 reports, not too shabby.  Ford, N0FP in Minnesota was the DX champ.

Since the top-band gang is going to be tied up this weekend, let's try 
snatching Europe on 40 meters!  Frequency is 7023.5 KHz starting now.  End 
time is 1100Z (got things to do tomorrow away from home).  500 mw from the 
FRV (hyper-turbo mode).  The FRV is pretty efficient on 40 meters so this 
signal should cover the globe.
