Interesting to read DF2PY's observations - same pretty much here.

I got an inverted L up about 1 month ago (near 20m high; 3/8 wavelength
long), and using amplifier

USA were hearing well - very well done chaps !

Saturday - got up at 07:00; and worked near 20 stns - definite spotlight on
AZ (worked 2, but consistently good sigs) and TX (I think I worked 3); and
little from New England. VE3EJ, VY2PX worked also. Heard K6SE, and W1OP
(RI) , both in S&P, but never found them calling CQ

Sat night - worked some East Coast I would reckon before their sunset;
played a bit , went to bed, got up 06:45

Sun am - Not so good; only 5 more QSO's including AR. East Coast weak
again, in general

Best sigs overall - K5NA (NJ); KC1XX (NH), AA1K (DE), VE3EJ - probably most
consistent signal !

Nice to work some states that I still need cards for, but condx not good.

Got to work on my rx ants - too much QRm from this QTH

Got to improve TX performance - been very frustrating not working the Dx
from Asia this week (HS, VK9XD, DU9, 9N7 all audible - yet to find JT1CO).
Back on band after 6 years; need to add to my 158C + total badly !
