I can't offer any immediate help, but as a suggestion......
Many people will have heard lot's of differing interference, some will
have tracked down culprits / devices, why not record the noise as a wav
file and put it in your webspace. Provide a link to it here and we can
all take a listen. It's just possible someone might recognise it and
point you in the right direction.
