The MFJ1026 is an excellent tool. Like all tools, it must be used
correctly.
It relies on a noise pickup antenna to provide the noise sample. The
MFJ1026 tries
to remove that noise from the main receiving antenna before it enters your
receiver.
It takes some work to find the best location for the noise pickup antenna.
It should
be some distance away from the main antenna, such as on the other side of
your
house, for example. It must pick up a significant amount of the noise that
you
want to remove. This means that you may have to try several locations until
you
find the one that works best for you. Also, the noise antenna may need to
be
fairly large, depending on the radio band, type of noise and direction the
noise
is coming from.
When the MFJ1026 works, it works very well. It really depends on how much
effort you are willing to exert to find the best noise antenna location.

Good luck and 73
