I put up a 160 meter inverted vee with the apex
at 60 feet and the legs pulled out in a straight
line far enough to get the ends up 15 or 20 feet.
It was several S-units below my 90 foot vertical,
even on close in stations.  My advise is put
up a vertical, if you possibly can.
