It is important for ANYONE on this reflector who has unresolved or had great
difficulty resolving RFI complaints to directly respond to energy companies
suggestions they "have no documented complaints" or that they will ensure we
have no problems from BPL. You can find such claims without spending a great
deal of time searching industry comments.

I'd wager the track record of many companies is less than reasonable in
curing part 15 violations they already have. Pointing out specific first
hand cases of non-compliance with existing part 15 rules would be a very
good response to any specific "we are a responsible trustworthy industry who
need less restrictive rules" comments.

For every one the FCC gets solved, I'd bet there are hundreds more where
people just give up and live with the *part 15 illegal* noise.

I've had virtually no response getting a utility to repair obvious safety
and service reliability problems (that also happen to be generating illegal
power line noise). I wasn't surprised to see them on the evening news, as a
main suspect in the NE blackout. I can't imagine what radio will be like if
they are allowed to operate BPL systems.

Remember, at this stage you have to comment in direct response to previous
comments. Nothing new!
