The International DX Convention will be held at the Holiday Inn in
Visalia, California on May 2-4, 2003. I'm pleased to say that a
Topbanders' DX Session is scheduled at the Hotel on Saturday, May 3rd
from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM PDT (subject to change), with some prominent
160-meter DXers slated to give presentations about recent DXpeditions and
monster antenna farms.
I will also be setting up a Topbanders' Dinner gathering for Friday
evening, May 2nd at an area restaurant. I would like those who plan to
attend the Dinner to vote on the location.
In the past we have had the Dinner at three different locations in
Visalia -- Applebee's, Sizzler's, and the Steer & Stein. Applebee's is
the closest to the convention Hotel (about 2 miles), while the other two
are about 6 miles away. We can have the Dinner at about 6:30 or 7:00 PM
at Applebee's or the Steer & Stein. The Siszler's banquet room would be
available at 8:00 PM if we chose that location.
