For contest reasons we are trying to upgrade our Inverted L performance. It
will have to serve both intermediate and long (intercontinental; as in
europe to usa) distances.
At this moment our Inverted L has a 21mtr vertical section and we tend to
make it longer but prefer not to loose our 'fighting power' in the
intermediate range pile ups. So far we do very well in the near by pileups
and I hate to see that going away when erecting a possibly full size quarter
wave vertical.
Anyone who knows what vertical to horizontal ratio would be optimal here???
