Another idea (not mine) for a small solder pot is a shell casing from a spent bullet. Note: I haven't tried this. Thanks to Dick, W7WKR for pointing out the safety aspects of using a pipe cap as a solder pot. A spilled solder pot, even a small one, can really spoil your day. 73 and Happy Holidays, Al W6DZ |
