Interesting conditions on Top band last night. First noticed that there
was a lift on VHF as getting TV channels
over 100 miles away snow free. Saw spots for 160 on the DX cluster.
Heard Wolf DF2PY coming in S-9 but a lot of QRN on the normal Europe
Beverage. Next tried the north side of a two direction North-South
Beverage. He dropped 6 DB but the QRN went way, way down. Almost
gone. The North, over the pole, path is usually poor so was
surprised to get the armchair reception.. Made a contact with Wolf.
