Follow-up on a four-Pennant switchable array: The 57-foot by 57-foot space I mentioned describes the corners of the space needed. This translates to a square area 40.3 feet on each side. The EWE, K9AY, Flag and Pennant all have virtually the same patterns, but the main advantage of the Pennant or Flag is that it is ground-independent and is not subject to the drawbacks associated with ground-dependent antennas such as the EWE and K9AY. 73, de Earl, K6SE |
