Topband: 160M EU Opening 20 Dec 01

Hi Paul,

I don't know if it means anything, but take a look at the
Auroral Oval plots from the NOAA POES satellite
during the opening last night:

Its interesting to note that power input levels to the polar
caps were extremely low during the opening (its very
rare see the polar cap so quiet that the plots only
show light yellow with no orange shading).

Makes me wish I had some good 160 antennas.
