Topband: Gladiator Special

Hi all;
Anybody out there using a Gladiator Phoenix Special?  Or ever used one?  I
bought one 2 yrs ago, started to put it up, but events (a baby) overcame
that need so I became Mr. Mom instead of the top band dx hunter I had
imagined...hi.  Now I have the time and have been busy installing the
Phoenix Spl over the past few days.  I have a few questions.  Cannot reach
Bob Myers (Mr. Gladiator) so far as he is apparently out of the ham antenna
business...any help?   73/dx
