I live within blocks of the 45 degree North line in Minnesota. Usually, auroral activity inhibits EU to this part of the world. With very high solar activity lately, the SOHO satellite map shows the aurora bands dipping way into Iowa, I expected NO activity on 160 tonite. Wrong again... at 02:45 I hear DL7DF working Qs.
