I have used an unterminated 400 foot beverage for years here at home. Works
good on both 80 & 160 off either end.
Also strung up a 300 foot unterminated beverage E-W in the Caribbean and
worked lots of low power Southern California stations off the back that I
could not hear off the NW beverage or TX antenna. It also worked fine on
both 80 & 160.
