Have you considered using a trap in the L for 80 meters? This would make the matching problem for two bands easier. The total length will be less than your original L due to the trap. This is what the Battle Creek Special does as well as an antenna built by K1ZM which is described in ON4UN's book, and I think somewhere on the web.
