This written at 1130z Sunday 19 Nov.
We are on the ground and busy working on antennas for CQWW.
Last night I came up on 160m with temporary XMIT and RX antennas from about
2030z - 2230z.
There were THUNDERSTORMS over in HZ and even on the USA bev, the noise level
was over S9.
I worked only VE1ZZ and even Jack was tough copy through the QRNNNN.
I decided to bag it in favor of some MUCH NEEDED rest as we are working 20
hour days in the sun trying to get things set up over here.
Tonight's TOPBAND schedule will probably include coverage from 2300z - 0245z
sunrise over here.
I will be on either 1831 or 1828 QSX up 1-2.
I hope the noise is down tonight - last night it was pointless to stay up
any later - as the noise was just too tough.
We are not yet fully operational over here on 160m - but hope to be so by THURS
night USA time.
