Thomas KN4LF Says:
160 meter propagated signals are always going to travel along the path
of least absorptive resistance. I saw this occur quite regularly during
ionospheric storms in California when I was DXing VK and ZL mediumwave
broadcast stations. By the way there are three 50kw 120 meter band
broadcast stations in Australia on 2310, 2325 and 2485 that make good
propagation beacons into the U.S.

73 And Take Care,

Thomas Giella, KN4LF
