Hello Fellow Top Banders
As many of you know, seats to the top band "gathering" in Dayton on
Friday nite have been totally reserved for nearly two months - and there
is a "QRX list" of some 20 - 25 would be attendees waiting patiently for
a seat. Further, the 62 seats that we have working with at Neil's
restaurant made for a pretty crowded seating area. The beauty of the
original arrangement was it's "order from the regular menu, pay
individually" that Randy and I, as facilitators enjoyed.
But this year with the demand that is at hand, we can't expect to
realistically get seats for the 20 - 25 waiting for one.
The same restaurant has a banquet facility downstairs that will
accommodate our needs easily - but we'll have to choose a menu item in
advance and pay for one check for the group. This means, of course,
selling a "seat" in advance for the meal and having a firm count two
weeks before Dayton. I would propose we go with 3 menu entree choices;
a petite filet, broiled salmon with dill or their house specialty,
breast of chicken supreme. Meal will include salad, hot rolls and
butter, entree with potato/veg, dessert and beverage. We will also
enjoy a cash bar setup that will be welcome relief from having to find a
waitress in a crowded room.
I believe $25 each will handle the whole meal. Would each attendee
please send me their reserved amount at that price along with menu
choice; steak, salmon or chicken and an SASE for return receipt. I have
a list of the original attendees and those on the "QRX list" and will
process those first. But we will have room for another small number to
attend so please indicate that on your mail in request.
With overseas visitors, I will take your word as u reconfirm your seat
that u will be attending, selecting menu choice and will collect from
you at the door when u arrive in the restaurant (knowing that forwarding
US $ will be a problem in advance).
All other items for the gathering will remain the same (date, time and
place)
CU there. Looking forward to your reconfirmation and dinner choice.
