It is with deep sadness to report that Joe Painter, W2BHM passed away on
Monday, February 7th in his sleep. Joe had prostate cancer that spread to
his kidneys.
Topband veterans will remember Joe as an avid DXer in the pileups. He was a
Senior Member of the North Jersey DX Association and a retiree from New
Jersey Bell (Bell Atlantic). Most importantly, he was a fine gentleman. He
will be missed. Cards of condolence may be sent to his widow Vi at: 1180
