After feeling like part of the black hole, finally had some propagation this
morning.
XZ0A was a solid 569 on my SW beverage this morning (Tuesday) from 1310Z
(when I first listened) until 1345Z (when he appeared to QRT). He was
inaudible on my NW beverage - the most striking case of skew path I have
heard on 160. There was very little of the deep QSB characteristic of most
direct-path openings to EU and JA from here.
He was working 5's (with some difficulty) when I first got there. By 1345Z,
the 5's were gone, but I was surprised to not hear any 6's and 7's calling.
No luck here - might get ambitious tonite and move my 160 sloper from the SE
side of the tower to the W side of the tower.
