Hi Bill,
Congrats on a new one. To quote you earlier this season "I don't expect any
new ones this season". Bet with 3W and XZ you are happy guy! You never know
on 160.
At any rate, for the propagation study people, XZ0A peaked 559 at 1100 UTC
(Jan. 21) and was good copy between 1155 and 1205 on 1826.5 MHz. He was
better on my sloper than on the horizontal inverted V dipole. My sunrise
was about 1215 UTC. He was very weak on the SW path and definitely was best
on the 310 degree 500 foot Beverage.
At about 1110 UTC XZ0A was 33-44 copy on 3795 and again he was best copy on
the 310 degree Beverage.
Still need him on both bands!
73,
Joe, W1JR
