With three broadside EWE rx antennas, each switchable in direction, for 6
directions, XZ0A was best at 1400z southwest; best west at 1420z; and gone by
1440z, with sunrise 1457z here in Montana. At first he peaked s7 but that
didnt last, and later just above the noise level. I believe that a few w6
and w7 worked him but it was slow going, probably due to his noise level. I
have a tx array for southwest of two 90' endfire phased verticals but neither
that nor the single vertical for the northwest made the grade. 73 Bob W7LR
