If the station on 610 is local, do a little "sniffing" nearby to your
station to be sure that rectification is not the cause of the harmonic.
For several years, I lived 1-1/2 miles from a 5kW station on 1430 and
was certain that many spurs that contained its modulation were a result
of rectification in all the nearby power lines, telephone cables, CATV
feed, downspouts, roof flashing and other poor metallic connections.
When they were off the air for maintenance (occasional Saturday nites)
the "crud" level dropped dramatically.
