Even more interesting were the SWL reports I received about being copyable
in England and Scotland around 1200Z in the Stew Perry contest 2 years ago.
Never even thought to listen on the NE beverage at that time of day.
For a few days around the solstice 2 years ago, SM and OH were quite
workable short path around 1400Z (about 30 minutes before sunrise). There
was no trace of long path, skew path or multipath propagation.
I hope this is motivation to run QRO instead of low power in the Stew Perry
contest !
