Thought band was dead this morning, then heard 9M2AX on 1830.4 at 1405z by
far the best I've ever heard him, an honest 579. He gave a couple of calls
to EX8ZW but apparently no response there, and after that he didn't hear me.
Then I had two qsos with JA, first JH0BQX and then JA1RZD.
The first was 579 and the other over s9, with my reports 449 and 549. Also
heard
an HL on 1822 qso a JA. Would expect better responses with 1.5 kw and a 90
foot vertical but at least some action, which has been very sparse lately. On
rx after my sunrise, JA1RZD was down to s7 on the JA EWE, s4 on the tx
vertical, and s3 on the VK EWE. 73 Bob W7LR
