Thanks all who helped!
K5TR supplied the necessary information. The problem is mixing
between WGTG's 6.890 USB transmitter, and an AM transmitter at
their site on 5.085
The result is a USB signal on 1.805
This is a similar problem to transmitters at WWCR where the
product is on 1.860 and 1.855
SW BC stations run high power transmitters and almost never
employ enough selectivity or antenna isolation to prevent one
transmitter from mixing with another.
Hopefully none of these guys will ever have a product in the weak
signal area of the band!
