I am sending this message out the group to clear up any problems
my unedited reposting of a message from another list may have caused and
to apologize both to Tom and the rest of the group:
I recently forwarded a message to Topband from Antennex without
considering the problems it might create if it contained false
information. That post contains what appears to be an incorrect
statement that a topband list member, W8JI resigned from two
Atlanta clubs in a dispute with another person.
It appears W8JI never belonged to the Atlanta ham club, never
attended a meeting of that club, and never resigned any club for
any reason.
I apologize to W8JI for unknowingly reposting what appear to be
incorrect statements.
In the future I will be sure to more carefully edit any messages that I post
to the list to avoid any such misunderstandings (though I certainly don't
haveany desire to repost anybody else's messages but my own in the future!!!)

(P.S. Let this be a lesson to all of us...please keep negative comments
about individuals off the reflector in the future. I will try to do a
better job of editing to remove all such comments in future posts so
we can stay on informational topics and not stoop to mudslinging...de W4ZV)
