Many thanks to all those who responded with information about the floating
beacons. It seems they cause widespread problems, and I'll be following
ZL2JR's lead in reporting them here. Maybe with enough pressure, we can get
the damn things moved elsewhere. There are enough people on this reflector
to cause a lot of noise, and if we don't, no-one else will.
