Hello to all:
This time tomorrow our NW 747 should be over VE6 land on the way to Beijing.
We will be arriving at 1900BJ time on Wed . That is 0500CST and Beijing is 8
hours ahead of UTC. David Zhang BZ1BM will meet us at the airport.
When we set up the amp and all, we will check for AM broadcast birdies and
announce a receive frequency and our transmit freq via this reflector. BY1QH
has internet in the shack. We can connect to the "topband@contesting.com"
with no problem.
Merv and I are really looking forward to making a lot of contacts to North
America on 160, 80 and 40 meters. We will be of course be on other bands if
the low bands are kaput.
Well, lets hope that conditions will be G R E A T .
