This morning, the band sounded very different than it has during
the last week. The SM/OHs were gone and replaced by a strong UA0,
some JAs, T88JA and very strong ZL data signals on 1819 and 1816.

Probably good conditions to VK, but no signals heard.

Sure am glad this disturbance waited until after the contest!!

I will continue trying the morning path to Europe for the rest of
the week starting again on the 1st. 1400 to 1545 UTC. The peak
seems to be around 1445 to 1515 UTC. I try to call short CQs
and "surf the QSB" - quick exchanges and all of that. Some signals
are only above the noise for 10 or 15 seconds at a time.

Still hoping for the J8 to appear for a new one!
