The 9th of Dec was the rite day for top-band here in central EU !
Midwest stns started with big sigs,skip moved on west to 0-land,
W0FLS came in very nice 589,just after that, Bob called from MT
running S6 sigs,N7JW jumped in with a 569/579.Then the left coast
had the run with W6DAO,NI6T,K6UT ( best sigs from NI6T ) finally
the "Boring"-stn came in from OR.VE7SV,and VE5DX made the Canadian
part of it.Then ,shocking,W0ZTL called from North Dakota- holy
Guacamole !- lots of folks would die for a QSO with Alex.
K6ZZ made the last West Coast Q,just before W0RI and K0HA shattered
a few European S-meters.What a day ! Hope everybody had fun on the
band ! I'll be qrt from the 13.Dec for a trip to CO-WY-MT-UT,try to
meet with AA0RS,W7ZQ.N7ML,W7LR and N7JW, to bring a few of their
ideas back home to the "old world".Merry xmas and a happy new year

When Wolf was gone I got my chance and worked few from SR to about
20 minutes past SR. W7LR and W7CW had outstanding signals.
We are just about 10 miles apart and I rather stay in bed when Wolf is
transmitting...
