The best condx seemed to stay north and east of the
Mississippi River with stations deeper in EU such as UU,
EU, HB, SV, and OK never making it above my noise.
4X4NJ heard briefly on peaks but no QSO. Good
signals from EM1HO, IT9ZGY, LA6WEA, G4BWP,
GM4BES,and G4VFU/MM. Carl, G4VFU/MM was quite
loud on 1.845 SSB at 0400 working into AZ and CA from
the North Sea. He said he is using two 5/8 wave verticals - not clear if he is
on a ship or an oil drilling pier.
