I just got a copy of Jeff Briggs', K1ZM, new DXing on the Edge, The
Thrill of 160 Meters book. Although I have not read it yet I did get a
few minutes to look it over. It's got lots of great pictures and topics
including:
Propagation on 160 meters
Early DXing on 160 meters
Stew Perry, W1BB (the original MR 160)
A history of 160 meters from 1930 to present.
160 meter achievements
Anecdotes about 160 meters
simple & effective 160 meter receiv and transmit antennas
Plus much more.
The book was published by the ARRL. It's currently available through
the RADIO BOOKSTORE in N.H. It really looks professional and I can't
wait to read it. de Bernie, W3UR
PS I don't work for K1ZM, I just think this will be a must read book for
160 meter enthusiasts.
