Interesting evening from NC. Listened early evening and heard HB9ata
about s5 and DF2PY a bit stronger. Then at 357 GMT worked 4X4NJ with a
fantastic signal. Peaking a 5 to 6 on the beverage!!. Pretty good.
For some reason I've been waking up at about 0615 GMT so, into the shack
and onto 160!. This evening/ morning was quite good, and somewhat
unusual.

I found it most unusual and a pleasant surprise to be copying the PAC
stations with the QRN quite hi (S 5 to 7). Alll the above answered my
CQs as, otherthan HB9ATA (who was up 2 or 3 S units from earlier in the
evening) I did not hear any other stations.There were a couple others
that called but I could not copy through the QRN.
Ant here a bit changed from before. Raised tower to 70 feet and now am
shunt feeding. Put 2 ele 40 on it this weekend and it really helped
bring it into resonance. So, thanks to all and looks like it might be a
