Ref Bob's (W7GG) comments on condx ..
Joined the party late ... too late it seems!
N6TR/7 was a good 579 here in QSO with EI5HE on 1827.2 at 0555z and Bob himself
was also peaking 579
in southwestern GM at 0605z on 1831.0 putting out 3 or 4 CQ calls ... (Bob, you
may have heard a squeak fm me, 'cos
you did QRZ? my first call to you ... then nothing!!) ... on peanut power here
(250w) and non-vertical ant!
Have severe RX front-end deadening problem from local ship-shore radio station
( also my source of bread and butter, and odd
glass of wine!) .. just 80 yards from my ant ... and they broadcast at 0600z,
amongst other times of course, so never heard N6TR/7,
or W7GG again!
Ah well, maybe condx will hold (or even a modest win on the lottery) to boost
my ailing sigs!
