The carriers (around here anyhow) on the frequencies that are
multiples on 10 kHz are intermodulation products from AM broadcast
stations. I have one on 3510 that is 2x the frequency of local AM
station A plus 1x the frequency of local AM station B -- very
annoying! The situation improves when the stations switch over to
nighttime power levels.
