Awoke about 0845z so decided to check the band. Lots of QRN, and called CQ
on 1831 for almost an hour with no replies. Had the wide filter and heard
someone calling CQ up about 2 kHz at 0910z. It was Fred, LU6KBX. He was 579
and gave me 599. Nice to hear the north/south path open.
Listened briefly for Eu last evening but nil.
