Most Rohn 25 top sections are only 8 feet tall. I'm in the process of
putting up a full size 160 vertical of Rohn 25 and will use 12 ten foot
sections of Rohn 25 and a "flat top" top section of 8 feet to very
closely measure 128' tall. Considering the size of the tower diameter -
it should very nearly end up a full quarter wave tall.
Mine will be insulated at the base and have a "lot" of wire under it to
make it as near a perfect ground as one can do in this sandy Michigan
soil.
