Ooops-got a few more replies on the amp, still all VERY positive except one
who felt it was very cheaply made and somewhat poorly designed. Overall, it
seems Ameritron has a winner. My friend made his deal and we hope he'll be
on topband tonight with about 300 watts. I see quite a number of these for
sale on packet too-probably because they do not run enough power for some to
"smoke 'em out"! Maybe I'll get one for my trip to SA next winter-sure will
beat 100W!!!
